The author, Hà Tuấn Hưng, quoted Friedrich Nietzsche who once said: "Man is the cruelest animal"; and also believed that when you stare into the abyss for too long, it will stare back at you. However, he did not mention what will happen next. Will you become a part of it transform?
Although I do not agree with Nietzsche entirely, I do believe that humans have an inherently "animalistic" nature. They tend to prioritize their desires and instincts over rational thinking, and those we call "logical" individuals often use it to serve their own desires.
This is the story of a person living in the fragile boundary between darkness and light. He must face not only the crimes recorded in research papers, but also the darkness within himself when it comes to choosing between instinct and reason on "Judgment Day."
Author's note: This is a 100% fictional story inspired by many social issues, urban legends and conflicting emotions that the author has read, observed or experienced. The locations mentioned may coincide with reality, but the events are completely fictional.
